WickerWorks open studio. Start a new wicker or wicker adjacent project or bring one in progress. Self-directed projects both functional and inscrutable are encouraged.

An open studio workshop for independent wicker and basketry-related projects. Some experience is preferred, but the sessions may include demonstrations and discussions of techniques. Projects may range from classic functional baskets to expressive sculpture projects. Materials  can be natural, purchased or hand harvested, recycled,  or otherwise. The format of the workshop is  open-ended and will be subject to the needs & wishes of participants.

All workshops are conducted by Gina Telcocci, a sculptor and installation artist devoted to the power of the hand-made object. Telcocci has been working with wicker materials and techniques for over 30 years.

The studio has soaking tubs and handtools and some materials are available. Ms. Telcocci will offer occasional demonstrations, and will be available to offer suggestions and/or technical help.
